PTI player has won election in Karachi
KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf candidate Mahmood Maulvi
has won the field in the by-elections held in the NA-245 constituency of the National
Assembly in Shahr-e-Quaid. In the by-election held in A-245, PTI candidate
Mahmoud Maulvi has been declared successful by getting 29 thousand 475 votes,
while MQM's Moeed Anwar has come second with 13 thousand 193 votes. According
to the schedule fixed by the Commission of Pakistan, the polling ended at 5 pm,
but during that time the voters who were present in the polling station centre
were permitted to cast the right of their vote. The seat fell vacant due to the
death of Amir Liaquat Hussain, a member of the National Assembly belonging to
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. On the NA-245 seat, MQM's Moeed Anwar, PTI's Mehmood
Moulvi, and MQM's revival. Dr Farooq Sattar of Tehreek and Muhammad Ahmed Raza of
Tehreek Labeek, Hafeezuddin of Pak Sarzamin Party and M. Hamad Shahid was
